Superpresent is a quarterly arts magazine with its origins in Houston, Texas, yet boasting a global audience of over 30,000. As the Design Lead in this collaborative effort, I spearheaded the creation of the logo and identity, as well as overseeing the magazine’s presence on social media platforms. Utilizing my marketing expertise, along with input from fellow designers, we conducted thorough research to target our design towards a specific audience and to stand out in a competitive landscape.
Our design strategy aimed to maintain the essence of the original logo while infusing a modern and surreal aesthetic. Opting for a vibrant color scheme, we strategically employed bright colors to accentuate the design. Remaining true to the magazine’s core theme, anchored by the Mona Lisa, our objective was to craft a modern and contemporary design that seamlessly adapts to various platforms and sizes.

“La Francesita” is a charming coffee haven that encapsulates the essence and elegance of a traditional French café. As a family-owned business, we take pride in curating a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like home. Our commitment to authenticity shines through in our freshly baked pastries and scrumptious meals, all crafted from scratch with love and dedication.
For their brand, I opted for a modern approach inspired by the French artist Matisse. Drawing from his style, I incorporated organic shapes and bold colors that exude a French flair. This design not only captures the essence of French artistry but also introduces a playful and beautiful aesthetic, ensuring that it catches the eyes of all who encounter it. The fusion of Matisse’s influence with a contemporary twist creates a visual identity that is both sophisticated and inviting, mirroring the unique charm of “La Francesita.
